Among them, Adeline Toniutti, the singing teacher with an incredible career, since she experienced a terrible tragedy. And for good reason, the one who succeeds Armande Altaï suffered the worst test for a singer: losing her voice. Adeline was the victim of a domestic accident which burned her vocal cords. A painful ordeal that she had mentioned in 2020, facing Faustine Bollaert on the show It starts today. Following a chimney fire, “I woke up one night with my salivary glands completely dried up. I was vomiting blood“, she thus told. And to specify that one of his vocal cords was downright cut in two.
Adeline Toniutti had already testified to her story in the context of a documentary released in 2017, as she revealed by posting an excerpt on Instagram, this Thursday, October 20. In the video, available on YouTube, we then discover her in the hospital, barely out of the operating room. “Twenty-six months ago I had a household accident that broke my voice“, she explains during the interview conducted when she was recovering. She also clarified that she had been forced to stop working for several months following this household accident.
