of the Smart Buildings Alliance for Smart Cities (SBA)

announces the appointment of its CEO Jean-Luc Baudouin to the Board of Directors of the SBA.
The SBA association – Smart Buildings Alliance for Smart Cities, created in 2012, works every day to make smart building an asset at the service of territories, companies and occupants. Unique in its kind for its transversality, its openness and the diversity of the 450 companies and organizations that make it up, the SBA structures its actions around 3 pillars: Smart Home, Smart Building and Smart City.
Jean-Luc Baudouin, CEO of Adeunis, was elected to the Board of Directors of the SBA, made up of a college of 40 directors, whose main function is to define the major orientations of the alliance. He will continue the work of Adeunis undertaken since 2016 within the association and since 2020 within its Board of Directors. This appointment illustrates the important place occupied by Adeunis in its target Smart Building market.
Jean-Luc Baudouin will bring all his expertise resulting from nearly 30 years of experience in High Technologies, the deployment of innovative IoT offers and their marketing. He is behind the creation of more than 30 new innovative Adeunis product offers (radio technology, Telecom, embedded software, electronics), including the new 5G offer, as well as the management of large-scale R&D projects, such as the development of a Cloud platform in partnership with Thalès.
He has held several technical, marketing and management positions in France and abroad, both in large groups and for SMEs. In particular, he held management positions at Schneider Electric (2001-2012), the world leader in energy management, and supported dozens of SMEs at Captronic, a public structure founded by the Ministry of Industry and the CEA which aims to support in the deployment of innovative solutions.
The Smart Buildings Alliance regularly organizes thematic commissions to pool knowledge and issues around the Smart Building. These commissions make it possible to create dynamics favoring the emergence of services and innovations, benefiting all the players in the ecosystem.
