(CercleFinance.com) – adidas announced on Wednesday that it plans to recruit more than 2,800 people this year, not only to fill vacant positions but also as part of the creation of new positions.
The sports equipment manufacturer specifies that a large part of these recruitments will be made within its network of stores, where more than 900 arrivals are planned for the financial year.
The group says it intends to recruit 500 engineers in the fields of digital, IT services, data and analytics.
In total, all these hires will be made at 307 sites spread across 47 countries.
adidas now employs more than 62,000 people, including 7,700 in its home country of Germany.
