Adriana Karembeu became pregnant in 2018, when she was 46 years old. I didn’t suffer, but I can imagine that there are women who can suffer from it, but I don’t, personally, no.” Thanks to this IVF, the former co-presenter of Extraordinary powers of the human body then gave birth to a little girl, Nina, whom she had with her ex-husband André Ohanian. Now divorced, they are on good terms and continue to live together after 12 years of love. So their daughter can enjoy both parents.
She warns about having children so late
Adriana Karembeu made no secret of it: her pregnancy was difficult in certain aspects. The Slovak born in Brezno (Czechoslovakia), now aged 52, was no longer able to eat at all. Near Purepeople, she alerted other women about having a child after the age of 40. “We keep saying that women want to work, that we want to have a career, that we are pretty, even later, and that we have a lot of energy, but with children we have to stop,” she explained. “You have to have children when you are young because at 40, the chance of getting pregnant is 6 or 7%, so if you want to have two, it’s complicated.” Nina, aged 6 today, is in great shape, even if his mother doesn’t know what to make him eat! “My daughter is in the same vein as me, she doesn’t want to eat. My daughter is not greedy. You have to beg her to eat so it’s complicated”, she declared. She watches her diet very closely. Out of the question for the former model that her daughter will eat anything! In 2022, Adriana Karembeu gave us an interview, during which she confided that she regretted nothing about her pregnancy. “I am much more at peace with myself since I had my daughter. I gave birth, it transformed me into a lioness. I have never felt so free and fulfilled as since his birth.”
