The former model and presenter became pregnant at 46. A miracle for Adriana Karembeu, who was starting to lose hope. In September 2017, she spoke to the magazine Leisure TV about her desire for motherhood. “Things get complicated, I’m not young anymore. With Aram, we started thinking about adoption. No matter the path, it’s the child that counts”, she explained. The host of Extraordinary powers of the human body (France 2) did not hide his concern: “My desire to have it is recent. When I was younger, I wasn’t ready. When I think about it, I wonder if I was wrong, if I missed something.”. Interviewed by Current wife in July 2022, she revealed have had several miscarriages. “I knew that getting pregnant after 40 would be complicated. I just prayed that it would happen (…) I didn’t just have one miscarriage, I had several. There are women who get pregnant easily, others who decide to have a child later and for whom it is less easy. (…) The path has been horribly complicated, psychologically and physically.” she had explained.
