Relief for some

On Twitter, Jean-Luc Mélenchon wanted to “salute the dignity and courage” of Adrien Quatennens before assuring him of his full confidence. But the leader of the party also gave his support to Céline Quatennens, explaining “to give him (s) a confidence and (s) his affection”. But for the other members of his political family, the MP’s announcement is a relief in the face of the gravity of the situation.

For a few hours, voices had been raised asking Adrien Quatennens to step back. This is particularly the case of Olivier Faure but also of the ecologist deputy Sandrine Rousseau, who on Twitter, called on the deputy from the North “to step back from everything, until justice is pronounced”.
