(Boursier.com) — As of June 30, 2022, i.e. for the first half, the turnover ofAdVini amounted to €141.4 million, up +4.5% compared to the data published as of June 30, 2021 (€135.3 million) and +0.3% at constant scope and exchange rates, taking into account in particular of the acquisition of BVC Bodegas in April 2021.

On Export, the situation is mixed. In France, the Mass Retail and Hard Discount markets, which had progressed in 2020 (+6.3% vs 2019) following successive confinements and showed a marked decrease in 2021 (-11.9% vs 2020), continue to decline in the first half of 2022 (-10.8%). Conversely, the selective networks and Cafés Hotels Restaurants (CHR), generating much better margins, recorded very strong growth (+84.1%) allowing the level of activity to be regained in the semester of 2019.

Outlook

The context of high uncertainty anticipated for 2022 is confirmed. It requires dealing with geopolitical and health issues in many countries, the very significant rise in the prices of raw materials and interest rates, the return of inflation all over the world which is weighing on consumption in supermarkets. The good 2022 harvest that is announced in France will color this gloomy landscape as much as the resilience of AdVini, which has always been able to adapt to market conditions and contexts.

AdVini celebrates in 2022, with its 950 employees, its 150 years of existence. The company, although cautious and aware of the challenges and difficulties, keeps its growth objectives in sight “thanks to the quality of its assets and its wines, its priority brands, the unfailing commitment of all its employees, the deployment of its ESG policy, and the optimization of its offer in all markets”.
