Adyen: plunging with disappointing half-years


(CercleFinance.com) – Adyen is down more than 11% in Amsterdam, the payment solutions company having unveiled an EBITDA for its first half of 2022 that was certainly up 31% to 356.3 million euros, but missing by about 7% the consensus.

The group’s revenues, which include Uber, Dior and Uniqlo as customers, increased by 37% to 608.5 million euros, for volumes processed up by 60% to 345.8 billion, a level higher by 5 % to analysts’ average estimate.

Adyen confirms its guidance for the full year, including continued revenue growth, as well as an improvement in its EBITDA margin to levels above 65% in the long term (vs. 59% in the first semester).
