AEW: Fight Forever hopes to “rekindle the magic” of wrestling


If we can cast doubt on the means at its disposal, the Japanese studio Yuke’s has nothing to prove regarding its expertise in wrestling, a passion that dates back to the 90s and has crossed the generations. Long developer of WWE 2K games between 2013 and 2018, Yuke’s presents here an immediate wrestling game that wants to reconnect with a certain accessibility. A nostalgic instinct that nevertheless places a career mode at the center of the menu, which includes online multiplayer, tag team or even mini-games.

A panel of 50 wrestlers are expected, including newly announced Orange Cassidy, Bryan Danielson, MJF, Sting and Jade Cargill. The so-called CM Punk who was to appear prominently on the jacket is however not visible on the new poster of the game, probably in connection with this story of altercation. AEW: Fight Forever will be released in 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
