Affected on TF1: how Alexandra Lamy directed her daughter Chloé Jouannet

In “Touchées”, the actress Alexandra Lamy, who has become a director for the occasion, directs her daughter Chloé Jouannet, who plays for the occasion a young woman victim of incest. How did this collaboration go?

Alexandra Lamy went behind the camera for the first time to produce Touchées, a poignant fiction broadcast this Thursday, September 22 on TF1 (and now available on Salto).

The TV movie follows the fate of three women who have suffered violence as they try to rebuild themselves through fencing. For the occasion, the actress-turned-director called on her friend, Mélanie Doutey, but also her daughter, Chloé Jouannet, who plays Tamara, a young woman who has been a victim of incest.

If it could have been difficult for Alexandra Lamy to have her offspring play such a role, the actress could not imagine giving it to someone else. “Strangely, I immediately thought that Chloé corresponded to the character”, thus confided Alexandra Lamy at the microphone of Allociné. “I knew she had Tamara in her and it was going to work.

Alexandra Lamy also explained that Chloé had been touched by this role, the young woman having one of her friends who was the victim of incest. “She almost felt obligated to do this TV movie. It was a duty for her to play Tamara. Besides, she’s also my daughter. She knows my commitments, and she is very committed herself. These are subjects that affect her.

Alexandra Lamy, however, had to direct her daughter in the filming of delicate scenes, in particular a torrid scene with Hugo Diego Garcia, her play partner, which troubled Chloé Jouannet a little. “She was a little embarrassed because I’m still her mother, but this scene was more fantasy than anything else” she explained before concluding “in the end, it went well.

And it would seem that the family experience has convinced Alexandra Lamy since the actress has revealed that she is working on a new directing project, in which she would like to offer a role to her sister, Audrey Lamy. To be continued…
