More than two months ago, the St. Johanner last left a game in the regional league as a loser. On August 6th, the Pongauer conceded a 3-0 defeat at Seekirchen. The league leaders had to swallow exactly the same result at the guest appearance in Kuchl on Saturday. “The bottom line is that the result is completely okay,” admitted St. Johann coach Ernst Lottermoser openly and honestly.
Seven failures
The leader was missing seven players due to injury or illness. In addition, they didn’t want to take any risks because Austria will be playing at the top game in Pongau next Friday, that’s the focus. “We have been at the top for a relatively long time and want to stay there,” Lottermoser would like to call himself the winter king.
Kuchl trainer Mario Helmlinger also knew the problems of St. Johanner and knew how to correctly classify the respectable success.
