Immediately after his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck left to continue working on his latest film project.
After the three-day dream wedding with Jennifer Lopez (53), actor Ben Affleck (50) apparently immediately called work again. Last Monday he didn’t leave the US state of Georgia with his newly wedded wife, but with his friend Matt Damon (51), where the wedding ceremony took place. Like the US site “Hollywood Life” exclusively wants to know, Affleck has a project in the works that couldn’t be long in coming – and for which his Jennifer has also shown full understanding.
“In fact, she even encouraged him because she knows how important his career is to him,” the site claims to have learned from a confidante of the singer and actress. Accordingly, Affleck no longer expected to be asked again in the dream factory. After various missteps in the past, he does not want to gamble away this chance lightly. Once again, his wife serves as his role model: “Seeing how much she achieves in just one day drives him on.”
The next Oscar contender?
The report does not reveal whether the project mentioned is also the one that Affleck has in the making with his congenial “Good Will Hunting” colleague Matt Damon. But it would explain why the two stars left together.
Affleck and Damon are currently working together in a constellation that has not yet existed even in their 1997 Oscar film: the duo is filming the true story of former Nike manager Sonny Vaccaro (82) in cooperation with Amazon Studios. Together they write the screenplay, play along and produce the strip. What’s new is that, for the first time, Affleck is also directing a film with his buddy.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez celebrated their wedding with family and friends last weekend. It all started on Friday with a rehearsal dinner, the wedding on Saturday was followed by a big barbecue party on Sunday. About a month earlier, the two had already married in a small circle in Las Vegas.
