The 28-year-old had missed the qualification for the New Year’s competition in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on New Year’s Eve, and was then at a loss. On New Year’s Day, Kraft had cross-country skiing on the program so that he could clear his head from disappointment. Kraft will return to the tour on Monday in qualifying for the Bergisel jump. After the competition on Tuesday in Innsbruck, the 70th edition of the Nordic ski classic will traditionally be concluded on Epiphany in Bischofshofen on Wednesday and Thursday.
