Having been awaiting adoption for six years, Jordan will soon be able to join the family he dreams of so much.

“I just wish I had a family so I could call them mom or dad, or just mommy or just daddy”, this is the fondest wish of Jordan, a 9-year-old boy from Oklahoma, USA. In an interview with Fox News last June, the man in foster care for six years said he only had three wishes: “Have a family, a family, a family. This is the only wish I want to make ”, he says. "I wish I had someone I can talk to whenever I feel the need." […] "I hope someone will adopt me."

A dream about to come true

Following his poignant testimony, many people were touched by Jordan's plight. According to Fox, nearly 5,000 adoption requests were made following the video. In the past, the adoption home had registered a few adoption requests but unfortunately were quickly abandoned along the way. In addition, her biological brother Braison was adopted the year before, making things even more difficult for Jordan.

But this time things will change. Thanks to the many adoption applications, the foster home is in the process of choosing a family for Jordan. “I read all the profiles to choose a family with whom he could live”, says Christopher Marlowe, the agent who takes care of the little boy. "I'm really excited and hope we can finally find a family for this little boy."

We wish him happiness!
