After spending several days in an intensive care unit due to an infection, Madonna is said to be recovering at home.

On June 28, it became known that Madonna (64) died last weekend due to a infection was hospitalized and had to spend several days in intensive care. An insider now wants to know that she is doing better and is said to be recovering at home.

“She’s back home and feeling better”, got an anonymous source to the US magazine “People” explained. “CNN” reports, citing an insiderthat Madonna was discharged from the hospital and taken to her home in New York City in a private ambulance.

It is currently unknown how she is doing officially. Her manager Guy Oseary (50) had on Wednesday shared on Instagram: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection, which has led to a stay in intensive care for several days. Her health is improving, but she is still receiving medical treatment. A full recovery is expected .” Shortly thereafter, other insiders reported to “People”, among others, that Madonna was said to be no longer in intensive care.

Start of “The Celebration Tour” is postponed

Oseary also confirmed on Wednesday that the start of Madonna’s “The Celebration Tour” had to be postponed due to her health condition. Fans will be informed of further details, including the new tour start date, as soon as more is known.

The tour was originally scheduled to begin July 15 in Vancouver, Canada. Shows in Europe are becoming topical listed on Madonna’s homepage from mid-October. In Cologne and Berlin, among other places, she is supposed to appear in November.
