WARSAW (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden said on Tuesday Ukraine had remained strong as the Russian-launched war neared its first anniversary, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin had underestimated Kyiv.

Traveling to Poland, after having made a surprise visit to Kyiv the day before, the head of the White House stressed that Westerners had stood together for democracy and sovereignty.
