Princess Kate is currently recovering from abdominal surgery. Apparently she’s feeling so good that she’s thinking about work.

Only after Easter Princess Kate (42) is attending public appointments again after her abdominal operation. Apparently she could start working from bed before then. The British media is speculating about this. Prince William’s (41) wife had surgery earlier this week, the palace announced.

Princess Kate’s work continues

The 42-year-old is reportedly “doing well.” She is expected to spend another week at the private London Clinic. The royal family had spoken of a ten to 14 day hospital stay. She will then continue to recover from the medical procedure at home in Adelaide Cottage. As soon as Kate is back home in Windsor she will have to rest, but her work continues, reported “The Times”. Insiders told the newspaper that once the princess is released from the hospital, she will work from bed.

First and foremost are the three children, Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5). A source said that Kate and William are currently putting “family first and job second.” The couple is trying to give the children a feeling of “normalcy.” “The children are always at the center of their universe. That will continue to be the case. They want to make sure they have as much normality as possible in the future,” an insider told The Times.

Charles also comes to the hospital

The British royal family is currently facing major challenges. While Kate is in the hospital, William will primarily look after the couple’s children. In addition, King Charles (75) is currently preparing for an operation. The monarch is due to undergo a medical procedure next week for an enlarged prostate. Apparently he only needs a short break.
