Janosch Dahmen has been a member of the Bundestag for the Greens since 2020. Now there is an accident during construction work in his house in Brandenburg. The deputy needs to be treated in a clinic.
The Greens member of the Bundestag Janosch Dahmen was seriously injured in an accident. The health expert for the Greens is being treated in the hospital and is doing well given the circumstances, said a spokeswoman for the parliamentary group on request.
The accident happened on Wednesday during construction work at Dahmen’s house in northern Brandenburg. Business Insider first reported on the incident on Friday. However, the spokeswoman denied the report that Dahmen had been hit in the head by a roof beam.
“He wasn’t hit by a roof beam and didn’t sustain a head injury,” she said. The spokeswoman declined to comment further on the accident. The 41-year-old Dahmen from the constituency Hagen – Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis has been a member of the Bundestag since 2020. Before he entered the Bundestag, Dahmen worked, among other things, as an emergency doctor.
