After “The Suicide Squad”: Daniela Melchior plays in “Fast & Furious 10”.
The Portuguese actress-turned-model played Cleo Cazo, aka Ratcatcher 2, who can communicate with and control rats, in James Gunn’s hilarious comic extravaganza ‘The Suicide Squad.’ Four years earlier, Daniela Melchior had already sniffed comic film air with “Spider-Man: A New Universe”. For the Oscar-winning animated film, the actress took over the Portuguese dubbing voice of Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen. Before “The Suicide Squad” she was mainly seen in film and TV productions from her home country. Next up is Melchior alongside Sam Neill and Noomi Rapace in the action hit Assassin Club, which is slated for release in 2022. Another project is the neo-noir thriller “Marlowe”, which is based on the novel “The Blonde with Black Eyes” by Raymond Chandler. Liam Neeson will star in the book adaptation, which is scheduled to hit theaters in 2023.
Unfortunately, it is not yet known what role Daniela Melchior will play in “Fast & Furious 10”. Maybe she supports her DC colleague Jason Momoa. He is supposed to take on the role of the villain in the action blockbuster. Or she joins Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto and his “family”. His allies include his brother Jakob, who appeared as the film’s antagonist in “Fast & Furious 9”, but then switched sides. He is played by ex-wrestler John Cena. He already played as a crazy peacemaker in “The Suicide Squad” alongside Daniela Melchior. His appearance in “Fast & Furious 10” has not yet been confirmed. But if he is at the start, then two superheroes and a superheroine from the DC universe would appear in the action blockbuster.
