After an interview, Hailey Bieber is again exposed to the hatred of Selena Gomez fans – the latter is now asking for more kindness.

Selena Gomez, 30, has responded to the interview in which Hailey Bieber, 25, talks about the hatred she’s felt since dating Justin Bieber, 28, shortly after Gomez.

Going live on TikTok, the singer-actress said she’s heard people make “mean and disgusting” comments towards Hailey since the conversation took place in “Call Her Daddy” Podcast came out. In the video Gomez speaks about the importance of kindness and emphasizes: “It’s not fair, nobody should ever be spoken to in the way I’ve heard.”

It’s ironic that many of these people support her beauty line, Rare, but ignore what it stands for. One percent of proceeds goes to the Rare Impact Fund, which works to improve access to mental health. “If you support Rare I can’t thank you enough but know that you also represent what it means and that is: Words matter, truly matter.” She concludes the video by saying, “I hope you guys understand that this is way bigger than anything.”

Hailey talks about hate on the internet

Hailey and Justin Bieber began dating in June 2018, just weeks after Selena Gomez and Bieber broke up again. They announced their engagement after just a month and got married in September. In a podcast on Wednesday, Hailey spoke for the first time about how the relationship came about and how much she suffers from the hate she is exposed to because of it.

Even today, she would be afraid to comment on it and “raise dust again.” It was also hurtful for Justin Bieber, who would ask themselves: “If we [mit unseren Leben] go ahead, why can’t you?”
