TF1 has just announced that the actor and director Alain Chabat will soon be at the head of an American-style talk show, which will be called “The Late Show with Alain Chabat”.
The Late show will soon be making a comeback on TF1! The channel has indeed announced via a press release this Friday the arrival of a new program called “The Late Show with Alain Chabat”.
For the occasion, the actor will be at the head of this new format which will be offered every evening at 11 p.m. As of now, no release date has been announced. It is in a short video parodying King Charles III and posted on social networks that TF1 announced the news which will delight fans of “Burger Quiz”, another program presented by Alain Chabat.
This is not the first time that TF1 has tried the American late show experience. In 2001, Jean-Pierre Foucault had thus presented “We will have warned you”, a program in the second part of the evening, directly inspired by David Letterman, which had been canceled two months after its launch, for lack of audience.
Arthur had also tried the exercise in 1992 with “Arthur, the impossible show”, then in 2013 with “Tonight with Arthur”. The two programs had also been stopped, the fault of disappointing audiences.
