A gameplay that is renewed
In Honaki, every three weeks, new events appear. Each update is accompanied by a new quest with a little story, sometimes funny and humorous, sometimes mysterious and adding depth to the game universe. Well, that’s if you read the dialogues. The real strength of the events is their own gameplay. Management game, rogue-lite, goods deliveries, cocktail creation and even a system inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh, the different phases of the game are constantly being renewed. Each of these game modes allows you to earn a lot of rewards, much more than in Genshin Impact.
But what about the game itself then?
Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based video game. The science fiction universe mixes with fantasy and magic depending on the places we go. It’s all gigantic, with characters each more interesting than the other thanks to their story or their design. Several permanent game modes allow you to earn rewards in order to use the gacha system to obtain powerful allies… But in the end, it remains a mobile game.
If you play every day, you’ve probably already had this feeling of having nothing left to do. There will inevitably come a time when you will have no more quests, no more events, no more monsters to fight except for fun, etc. This moment is always very frustrating.
