The Daredevil series could be the gateway to another famous hero that the public particularly appreciated during its adaptation on Netflix.
Marvel Studios’ new Daredevil series (Daredevil: Born Again) could be the gateway to Jon Bernthal’s return to the MCU as the Punisher! The information comes from Giant Freakin Robot, a site that is used to leaks and which had, for example, disclosed the return of Qui-Gon Jinn in the Obi-wan series. All of this still needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Indeed, it looks like Disney and Marvel will start producing more mature MCU content for their streaming platform. It was previously revealed at San Diego Comic-Con that the Marvel Zombie series will allow for the first TV-MA rated MCU content (TV-MA rating indicates that a television show contains graphic violence, foul language, graphic sex scenes or a combination thereof) on Disney Plus.
When we know the success of the series The Punisher from Netflix and the unconditional love of the fans for the actor Jon Bernthal, we think that it could indeed be a good idea. Especially since the character of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil is the perfect protagonist to be able to introduce the Punisher again into the equation.
