After GTA, the game from one of the creators finally playable soon!

The game of this iconic Rockstar character, having worked on GTA, is about to be completely playable for free. An experience that should bring a breath of fresh air to current games.

Everywhere, the long-awaited project from former GTA producer Leslie Benzies, is set to launch a closed beta next week, marking a crucial step in the development of this ambitious platform. The project is designed to democratize video game creation, offering a set of accessible tools that allow aspiring developers to create, remix and share their gaming experiences.

A game/experience close to Dreams for this GTA creator

In fact, The beta, titled Builders Beta, will be available on PC from June 18. It will provide a full range of tools and resources from multiple studios. Allowing users to play, use and remix content as they wish. This approach is clearly inspired by platforms like Media Molecule’s Dreams. Which has already proven that the game creation tool can be both powerful and accessible. We are a long way from GTA.

Arcadia’s free tools, which power the project, include build tools, a self-publishing system, and an asset library. Virtual objects, whether small props, enemies, puzzles, or even entire levels, are called Stamps. These Stamps can be shared, edited and remodeled by other users. Thus encouraging continued collaboration and innovation within the community.

Leslie Benzies emphasized that you don’t need to be a professional programmer to create remarkable works with Everywhere. Stamp’s system aims to eliminate the blank canvas problem. Facilitating the prototyping process and allowing users to select, reuse and even remix the best content from the community. This system reflects an era where digital technologies and content platforms have democratized the art of remixing. Making advanced creation tools accessible to everyone. Enough to potentially even create a GTA Like.

Outside of beta, the Build a Rocket Boy studio is also developing MindsEye. An episodic AAA game created within Everywhere itself. Although the latter is not included in the beta, it should be available at the launch of the project, the date of which remains to be confirmed.
