Last January, we learned that Maverick co-writer Ehren Kruger was already at work. Other sources claimed that director Joseph Kosinski would be ready to get back behind the camera, and that the idea would be to bring together Tom Cruise, Miles Teller and Glen Powell again.
Top Gun 3 is about to take off
This time, fresh news comes to us through the voice of the franchise’s historic producer, the indescribable Jerry Bruckheimer. Asked by ScreenRantthe latter confirmed that Top Gun 3 was in development.
“Tom Cruise will be there. Tom is amazing. We spent time with him. We have a history. Joseph Kosinski [réalisateur de Top Gun 2] had a wonderful idea for a new story and Tom really likes it”revealed Jerry Bruckheimer.
“We are in the process of developing it. But we don’t know when the film will be made because Tom is very busy. He is in the process of making Mission Impossible 8 Right now he has a movie coming up. I hope we get a storyline he likes and we fly through the air again.”concluded the 80-year-old producer.
