The technological war raging between the United States and China has just taken another turn this Friday evening. THE New York Times reveals that Washington is considering forcing, by law, the global giant DJI to leave American soil and air. An earthquake, and a possible new setback for Chinese Tech, which is already suffering after the ban of Huawei and the ban on TikTok.
Global consumer drone giant DJI threatened with exclusion from the United States

The American authorities indeed see the Chinese firm as a threat for its safety, tirelessly repeating the refrain already sung for Huawei and TikTok.
The American Congress, through the Chamber of Energy and Commerce, would seriously consider banning DJI, by adding the brand to the list of prohibited equipment, the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act.
This list, headed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the American telecommunications authority, already welcomes big names from the Middle Kingdom, such as Huawei, as we said, but also the equipment manufacturer ZTE and the operators China Telecom and China Unicom.

The American authorities have the possibility of sidelining DJI thanks to the Countering CCP Drones Act, an anti-drone law which aims to prevent the entry of new DJI products into the American market, and which blocks any purchase of drones, cameras, microphones and other products by American administrations. This same law could also make it possible to revoke previous authorizations granted to the company by the FCC.
