The smartphones
folders are becoming more and more democratic under the impetus of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
and Z Flip 3, which dominate the market.

However, the competition could become increasingly fierce in the months to come. And, according to new rumors, OPPO would like to walk on the Galaxy Z Flip 3’s toes with its own flip smartphone.

OPPO would prepare a flip smartphone

The war over folding smartphones is heating up. While the market is dominated by Samsung, several other manufacturers are using their model. Google is preparing its Pixel NotePad, Honor, its Magic V, and OPPO has entered the race with its Find N. The Chinese manufacturer intends to overshadow its Korean rival and this time would have the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in its sights.

According to information from leaker Mukul Sharma (via 91Mobiles), OPPO would like to market a flip smartphone from the 3rdand quarter of 2022, i.e. by September. If the name of this new flagship remains unknown, it would be more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, currently marketed at the recommended price of 1,059 euros. OPPO’s clamshell smartphone could therefore go below the symbolic bar of 1,000 euros in order to be more attractive than the competition. OPPO would not stop there. Mukul Sharma also talks about the launch of a successor to the OPPO Find N which would not arrive before 2023, without giving more details about it.
