Christian Clavier and Didier Bourdon will play for the first time together in the cinema, in the next film by a co-author of the Tuches, Julien Hervé.
Didier Bourdon and Christian Clavier gave the reply to the theater in La Cage aux Folles and have replaced each other in the cinema (in Les Profs, Clavier embodies Cutiro while Bourdon plays the role in the sequel). But so far, the two Kings of French comedy had never shared the poster for the same film.
As Christian Clavier reveals in an interview with JDD released this weekend, the two will finally be reunited at the cinema for a comedy whose filming has just begun. This film is written and directed by Julien Hervé (former author of Guignols, co-author of the Tuche saga, and the next part of Asterix).
“It’s a comedy about a contrasting social relationship, between a very pretentious Bordeaux wine owner married to Marianne Denicourt and a family of car dealers embodied by Didier Bourdon and Sylvie Testud”. details Christian Clavier in the columns of the Sunday Journal. “My daughter is going to marry their son. Needless to say, I’m very unexcited. As a gift, to make us take the pill, our children offer parents and in-laws DNA tests. Which obviously will reveal things strange…”
Like a comedy like Le Bon Dieu, the 3rd part of which has just been released in cinemas, this film – whose title has not been revealed – will fully play on contrasts and opposing social origins. In the casting are therefore announced Marianne Denicourt, Sylvie Testud, in addition to the Clavier-Bourdon tandem.
