After Netflix, Disney+ will relaunch a Daredevil series

Ordered by Netflix, the series around the Defenders, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Daredevil will be repatriated at the end of June on Disney+. But Uncle Walt’s platform has decided to go further in this homecoming. According to variety, a new series centered on Matt Murdock is said to be in development. Screenwriters Matt Corman and Chris Ord would take the reins of this project, which would see the cast of the Netflix series return.

One could suspect such an announcement, since the protagonist and the antagonist of the latter, Daredevil and Kingpin, have recently been seen in Marvel productions (Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye), still portrayed as Charlie Cox and Vincent d’Onofrio, respectively. It remains to be seen whether the new series will pick up where the previous one left off, or whether it will take other paths. In any case, the choice seems judicious since Daredevil is often cited as the best of the Defenders-centric series.
