OnePlus recently returned to the German market after a legal dispute with Nokia. Now the parent company Oppo also wants to offer its products in this country again.

Oppo confirmed its return to Europe at MWC 2024. The company receives support from the Telefónica Group based in Spain, with which Oppo GSMArena has entered into a three-year partnership. The company will sell its devices through its partner Telefónica in at least four countries, including Germany.

The return to Europe allows Oppo and Nokia to sign a multi-year reciprocal licensing agreement. In the past, there was a legal dispute over 5G patents, which ultimately forced Oppo to withdraw from the European market.

Oppo is back in Europe

When exactly Oppo will resume sales remains to be seen. On the German website you can still read the note “There is currently no product information available on our website. Some of the products are also not available in Germany, including Reno 8 Series, Find N2 Flip”. Oppo had deposited this here at the beginning of the legal dispute with Nokia.

The Oppo subsidiary OnePlus, on the other hand, has already resumed sales in Germany. Among other things, you can buy the OnePlus Watch 2 shown at MWC 2024 in Germany.
