After problems with Overwatch 2: Blizzard gives gifts

Since the release of Overwatch 2, players have not only had to deal with DDoS attacks, Blizzard itself has also acknowledged some errors. The company now wants to make amends and is giving away a brand new skin and some bonuses.

Not everything is going smoothly with Overwatch 2. For example, players complain about bugs and problems with the servers. That’s almost to be expected, but according to Blizzard, the company has “broadly stabilized its new live service game over the past few days and has made great strides in fixing or improving issues.” It will probably take some time and some updates until everything is really stable and running well.

Due to this bumpy start, the developer is now announcing in-game gifts for you. Do you log in during the period from October 25th until the end of the first season enter, you’ll receive the brand new Cursed Captain Reaper skin and a life tag for the weapon. These parts should be automatically added to your collection.

To make up for your lost time, Blizzard is also planning multiple weekends of double match XP. The exact dates are not yet known – the company will announce them later (source: Blizzard).
