No one wants to see their property lose value, just like no one wants to discover unpleasant surprises after the purchase. So, when Laura Rudd and her husband bought their new house, the discovery of a note left by the previous owners must surely have given them a cold sweat.
However, when reading this one, it was quite different. Touched by the message delivered to them, the couple chose to share it on social networks, in a video now gone viral on TikTok. What this note contained is quite simply a declaration of love to this house. According to the young couple, the note moved them to tears. And obviously, according to the numerous messages left by Internet users, they are not the only ones. “This brought a tear to my eye” (I had tears in my eyes), are all the comments that can be read. Since then, the young couple has decided to sell that Lincolnshire house they bought in 2020. But as if to return the favor, when they left, they left a trace of their passage to the new owners: a note recounting their own history in this house, in addition to the original one.
