Avatar 3 coming soon?
So Cameron discussed various topics. Including the inspirations behind his films and recent developments regarding Avatar 3. Currently in post-production phase, Avatar 3 is scheduled for release in December 2025. Cameron mentioned that this stage would be particularly intense and would last two years. This announcement comes after multiple postponements of the release date, originally planned for 2015, but pushed back several times due to various factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Cameron now seems confident that the film will be released in December 2025. Although again, we can always expect the worst. What plot?
Although precise plot details of Avatar 3 remain unconfirmed, the ending of Avatar: The Way of Water suggests an intensifying conflict between the Na’vi and the RDA, with the latter seeking to make Pandora more habitable for humans. In addition, it was revealed that Lo’ak, one of Jake’s sons, would be the narrator of this new opus, replacing Jake who had provided narration previously. We can therefore think of a change of tone. Which could breathe new life.
The cast will see the return of Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña as Jake and Neytiri, accompanied by Sigourney Weaver, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss (respectively playing Kiri, Lo’ak and Tuk, the children of Jake and Neytiri) , and Jack Champion as Spider.
