after the Covid-19, return to the abnormal?

This fall 2021, the old problems are back in the hospital: there are not enough beds and staff to cope with the number of patients. This was the situation that already prevailed before the pandemic. But new problems have arisen with the Covid-19, in particular a wave of departures, prolonged absences and recruitment difficulties.

Faced with the lack of nurses, many establishments are struggling to resume normal activity; the caregivers who remain are all the more tired and worry about “Vicious circle of disaffection”.

In this episode of the podcast “L’Heure du World », Camille Stromboni, journalist in the Health service at World, recounts the crisis in the hospital.

An episode produced by Jeanne Boëzec, directed by Amandine Robillard and presented by Morgane Tual.
