After the end of ProSieben and RTL: Are Elton and Stefan Raab secretly working on a joint comeback?

Tough times for Elton. First his former home broadcaster ProSieben separated from him, now RTL is removing his quiz show “Disgrace or cash in” from its program. After all: RTL is not separating itself from Elton himself and wants to develop new programs with the popular presenter. With “Three against One” and the “RTL EM-Studio”, two new Elton productions are already in the starting blocks.

However, it is noticeable that the “RTL EM-Studio” is produced by Raab Entertainment and therefore by Stefan Raab himself. Raab’s return to the spotlight was only made public at the end of March 2024 in an Instagram video in which Elton also appeared. Is Elton’s future more closely linked to Raab’s plans than previously thought?

Is RTL Raab’s new home?

While Stefan Raab was once ProSieben’s figurehead, Raab and Raab Entertainment are now independent of all broadcasters. It is therefore quite possible that more collaborations between Raab and RTL are planned in the future, in which Elton will also play a decisive role.

Apart from the planned boxing match against Regina Halmich, for which there is still no station set to broadcast it, Raab’s next steps are still a secret. Internally, it could already be clear at the TV stations that Raab and Elton are planning a larger cooperation at RTL, whereupon ProSieben preferred to separate from Elton and thus draw a clear line under the Raab chapter.

Rumors have recently been circulating that Raab Entertainment is planning its own streaming service, but the rights to Raab’s former shows are now owned by Brainpool. A return to television is more likely and, as a former “TV Total” intern, Elton is of course firmly at Raab’s side.
