Meta continues to clean up the Oculus games catalog.

At the start of the year, Mark Zuckerberg’s group decided to put an end to one of the best multiplayer games on Oculus, namely Echo Arena. The game developer, Ready at Dawn, explained in a blog post that they had “ many good reasons » leading him to make this choice… without really clearly explaining the situation.

Today, Meta, which has decided to focus on its future Quest 3, continues its momentum by announcing the end of the game Dead and Buried from March 15, 2024. “ You can continue hunting ghosts and other creatures in Dead and Buried on your Rift, Rift S, or Quest device until 11:59 p.m. the day before that date », Announces the American group.

The game will not be the only one to be withdrawn from the market on March 15, 2024, since this will also be the case for its sequel, as well as the game Bogo. The latter is not a game designed for multiplayer, and Meta has once again refused to give the slightest explanation.

It is also difficult to know if the players who bought the game Dead and Buried 2 ($20) will be entitled to a full refund or compensation in the form of a gift card. In any case, this is what many buyers of the game are demanding, and rightly so, on the official Meta store.
