Deadpool 3, like all other Marvel films, was particularly impacted by the actors’ and writers’ strike in Hollywood. But the situation is finally getting resolved after many months.
Deadpool 3 is undoubtedly one of the most engaging Marvel projects of the coming months. The first two opuses were esteemed and commercial successes, which was not necessarily a foregone conclusion. Unlike 99.99% of MCU productions, Ryan Reynolds’ escapades are not all public. But on the one hand, this other approach is also sought after by certain spectators who are beginning to sigh in front of current films. This third part could therefore do the business of Disney and the house of superheroes, but we will have to wait a little longer.
Barring any bad surprises, here’s when Deadpool 3 will be released in France
It’s a mess right now at Marvel and the strike in Hollywood hasn’t helped anything. But for now, it’s not the fault of the actors and screenwriters who simply tried to fight for better working conditions, and who found themselves facing walls. However, all of this is over and it benefits future MCU feature films, including the highly anticipated Deadpool 3.
Wendy Jacobson, producer at Marvel Studios, got off to a good start and for good reason. Filming on Deadpool 3 has finally started again, after months of suspension. “This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the two gifts I have been given: being back at work and being able to watch the sun rise from the set. Speaking of gifts, these icons (editor’s note: Deadpool and Wolverine) return to the big screen on July 26, 2024” via Instagram.
This is double great news for Deadpool 3, even if the initial release is postponed. The film was scheduled for May 3, 2024, but faced with the extension of the strike, Disney ended up realizing that it was impossible. This episode is therefore expected for July 26, 2024… in the United States. In France, it will be Wednesday July 24, 2024. Deadpool 3 takes the place of Thunderbolts, with Harrison Ford in the main role, which is postponed to 2025. Wendy Jacobson, director Shawn Lévy and the members of the cast are back on the plateau and they have their work cut out for them. 50% of the film still needs to be canned.
Deadpool 3 should have some surprises in store, including the appearance of an unexpected and scary character: Dogpool. We still don’t know if this is a joke. Singer Taylor Swift could also be in the credits.
