After the stop of The Resident, Matt Czuchry (Conrad) will play in an ultra popular series!

Despite the stoppage of “The Resident” at the end of its season 6, Matt Czuchry, the interpreter of Conrad Hawkins, is not idle since he joins the cast of season 12 of “American Horror Story”, whose filming will begin in May.

Despite the closing of the doors of Chastain Hospital in Atlanta, Matt Czuchry, the interpreter of Doctor Conrad Hawkins in The Resident, is not idle and will soon be in the credits of an extremely popular horror series.

To the great despair of fans, the American chain Fox announced this week the cancellation of the medical series The Resident, which also has Manish Dayal, Bruce Greenwood or even Jessica Lucas (Gotham) within its distribution, and which stops after six seasons.

Bad news which does not mean that Matt Czuchry will disappear from the screens since, according to the HollywoodReporterthe 45-year-old actor would have joined the cast of season 12 of American Horror Story!

The interpreter of Conrad Hawkins thus remains in the 20th Television family. The production company, which belongs to the Disney group and produces The Resident, is also behind American Horror Story.

No information has yet filtered about the next season of American Horror Story or the character that will play Matt Czuchry, who will participate for the first time in the horror anthology created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (Glee, 9- 1-1, Nip/Tuck).

We just know that the filming of this twelfth batch of episodes will begin in May, for a broadcast normally scheduled for this fall on FX across the Atlantic and on Canal + in France.

Last October, viewers discovered American Horror Story: NYC, season 11, which took place in New York, in 1981, against the backdrop of serial murders targeting homosexuals, even as a strange virus began to spread and to sow death within the LGBT community.

The cast of this eleventh season included in particular Russell Tovey, Joe Mantello, Charlie Carver, Billie Lourd, Isaac Powell, Denis O’Hare, Zachary Quinto, Leslie Grossman and Patti LuPone. Will some of them be back in season 12 as new characters?

In any case, the American Horror Story anthology still has a bright future ahead of it. In 2020, the FX channel has indeed renewed the series for three seasons at once, thus ensuring that it will last at least until season 13 scheduled for 2024.
