Returning at the start of the school year in the daily soap opera carried by Ingrid Chauvin, the time of an intrigue during which his character, Hadrian, was targeted by a formidable killer, the flagship dancer of Dance with the stars continues his career as an actor. . He has indeed landed a role in Meurtres à Valbonne, the filming of which started this week.
Directed by Julie Gali (Marie et les choses) and written by Delphine Chouraqui (Murders in Albi) and Fabien Adda (Prométhée), this new police unit stars Stéphane Freiss (Le Secret d’Elise, Dix pour cent) and Meena Rayann (Designated Guilty), who lend their features to police commanders Cédric Bonfant and Leila Belhassen, tasked with investigating several murders.
It all starts when Fabrice Da Costa, deputy mayor of Valbonne expected to inaugurate a commemorative plaque in tribute to the harkis, is found lifeless in the swimming pool of his splendid villa, floating in a veritable bloodbath.
Leila Belhassen and Cédric Bonfanti’s investigation will then lead them into the meanders of the past linked to the Algerian war and the fate reserved for harkis in France, parked in work camps.
But these two cops with diametrically opposed trajectories are far from suspecting that these murders will confront them with their own history and thus awaken the ghosts of their past.
Anthony Colette will play a certain James Lopez – a character we know nothing about at the moment – while Samy Naceri (Taxi), Martin Lamotte (Our dear neighbors), Liliane Rovère (Ten percent), Liv Del Estal (Validated), Mitty Hazanavicius and Romane Serda complete the distribution of this TV movie which should be broadcast in 2023 on France 3.
Filming for Meurtres à Valbonne began on Monday November 7 in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region and will continue until December 5.
