A woman from Völkermarkt (38) was driving her car on Seeberg Straße on Sunday night when she caused an accident. Particularly dramatic: the woman had her son and nephew on board.
Around 1 a.m., the 38-year-old left a disco in Kühnsdorf on Sunday night and got into her car with her 15-year-old son and 16-year-old nephew. Shortly after the local area of Kühnsdorf, the driver left Seeberg Straße and collided with a boundary stone and several trees. “The woman drove the damaged car a few hundred meters further. However, an eyewitness observed the incident and immediately alerted the police,” says an official. The 16-year-old was admitted to the Klagenfurt Clinic with injuries of an unspecified degree. The 38-year-old and her son were unharmed. “Her driver’s license was taken on the spot and she will be reported,” said a police officer.
