The Beatles reached the top of the charts again last week after 54 years. Kontra K and Nico Santos are now replacing them.

Last week, the Beatles were able to secure the throne of the charts again, 54 years after their last number one hit. With the new song “Now And Then” they topped the single charts determined by GfK Entertainment. However, seven days later there are new frontrunners. The rapper Kontra K (36) and the singer Nico Santos (30), alias Santos, took first place with “Die Sonne”.

“Now And Then” by the Beatles, meanwhile, slips to five. Cassö, Raye & D-Block Europe remain in second place of the singles with “Prada”, Bennett improves with “Vois sur ton chemin (Techno Mix)” and lands in third place. Tate McRae can also make gains again and is in fourth place with “Greedy”.

Nobody steals Kontra K’s hope

Kontra K also wins when it comes to albums. With “Nobody steals hope from me” he presents his eighth number one record. “Rock-Star” by Stray Kids is new at number two, the Rolling Stones rock with “Hackney Diamonds” in third place and “Bitches need Rap” by Shirin David lands in fourth place. The five goes to the Beatles here too – with the re-release of “The Beatles 1967-1970 (The Blue Album)”. “The Beatles 1962-1966 (The Red Album)” lands at number seven. “The Beatles 1962-1970” can be placed in between.

It’s almost Christmas again

The charts already show that Christmas will be back in just a few weeks. The classic “Last Christmas” by Wham! can improve from 64th place to 22nd. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” rises from 68 to 25.
