“Today’s conscientious consumers know that the future of fashion lies in innovative vegan materials, not sliced ​​cowhide”says Tracy Reiman, executive vice president of PETA, in a statement from the association. PETA shakes up Coach’s podium to convey the message that leather belongs to the annals of history, and not to the current collections of designers, she adds. In the same press release, PETA denounces the mistreatment of animals by Coach’s supplier. The luxury brand has not published an official reaction.
