AGCO Agriculture Foundation opens new round of grant applications


The AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF), a private foundation whose vision is to prevent and alleviate hunger through the development of sustainable agriculture, today announced the launch of its new round of applications for grants awarded to work on the theme of“Climate action in the context of agriculture”and intended for non-profit organizations, all over the world, with in particular various proposals for grants whose amounts are between 20,000 USD and 300,000 USD.

In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13) on “Climate Action”, and AGCO’s purpose of providing “farmer-centric solutions to power our world of sustainably,” the Foundation is currently accepting applications for grants awarded to promote climate action in agriculture. Through its community investment software partner, Benevety, the AAF’s grant application platform is opening a new round, and submissions can be made from February 21 to March 30. This program reinforces AAF’s commitment to its strategic focus areas and AGCO’s Farmers First Policy, while responding to global trends on climate change adaptation and mitigation.

The first round of Foundation grant applications for 2022 calls for new project proposals, from non-profit organizations, that combine a variety of sustainable methods to overcome climate change challenges specific to farming communities in d ‘today.

The goal is to implement projects that promote sustainable climate solutions for farmers and the agricultural sector, benefiting economies, while strengthening community development.
