AGCO Foundation for Agriculture makes donation for emergency relief in Ukraine


The AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF), a private foundation dedicated to preventing and alleviating hunger through sustainable agricultural development, today announced a grant of $100,000 the World Food Program USA (WFPUSA). This donation will support the emergency relief efforts of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), aimed at providing food aid to families affected by the conflict in Ukraine and neighboring countries.

The United Nations World Food Program recently launched an emergency operation to secure USD 570 million to provide food aid to civilians fleeing conflict in Ukraine.

Together with the UN World Food Programme, AGCO Corporation and AAF have launched “ShareTheMeal”, a solidarity campaign aimed at reaching 182,000 meals in three months, as an extension of the total donation. As part of this campaign, AGCO employees and relevant stakeholders can make individual or collective donations to support ongoing emergency relief and food aid in Ukraine. Fifty-five hundred can provide one meal a day.
