This season 1 whose deployment will take place soon takes the name of Festival of Ages and will feature Ranked Seasons, a beta content editor, mods, seasonal events with rewards, significant balance changes, and changes designed to improve the gaming experience.
Ranked Seasons are for the most competitive strategists who want to climb the leaderboard and unlock rewards by completing the game’s seasonal challenges, which will be revealed soon. As its name suggests, the content editor is a tool that will allow you to customize your games and redo the story as you wish by tampering with all sorts of parameters. In the coming days, the developers will also reveal some in-house mods as well as useful tips for creating your own mods.
The full list of tweaks will be available when the update launches, but there’s already talk of a global build queue and improved hotkeys. Finally, two additions will also enrich the game: an Advanced Combat Art of War challenge and the very random MegaRandom map.
