Summary
How to play Lesion
Role: Anchor
An Anchor is a defender who, for the majority of the round, stays on the objective to defend it.
An important aspect of Anchor’s role is to delay attackers’ push. Also, the Anchor should make it a priority to stay alive.
In Rainbow Six Siege, Lesion is a special anchor. Indeed he only has two health and does not have access to an ACOG. As a two-health agent, Lesion will be more vulnerable than regular Anchors. His assignment to this role revolves around his unique ability, similar to Smoke.
Difficulty
Difficult
Lesion is a difficult agent to handle. If its mechanics are not particularly demanding, it requires a great knowledge of the game. Indeed, it is important to know the cards well in order to make optimal use of the traps. In addition, Lesion must absolutely stay alive, which requires quick and efficient decision-making.
- Requires very advanced knowledge of Rainbow Six Siege maps
- Lesion, just like Smoke, must stay alive in order to be able to influence the game as much as possible.
- Requires appropriate and expansive communication for maximum effectiveness
What equipment to choose for Lesion
Which main weapon to choose
Lesion has access to two primary weapons, the T-5 SMGs and the SIX12 SD. Since shotguns are not very reliable weapons, the T-5 SMGs stands out as the default choice
the T-5 SMGs is a very reliable weapon with low recoil, damage ammunition capacity and a more than adequate rate of fire. The weapon has virtually no vertical recoil, but does have greater horizontal recoil. This is the reason why the use of a Compensator is highly recommended.

Which secondary weapon to choose
Lesion only has access to one secondary weapon, the Q929.
It’s a very effective gun with a high damage of 60 per bullet and a surprisingly decent amount of ten rounds per magazine. the Muzzle brake is excellent on the weapon.

Which gadget to choose
Lesion has access to two universal gadgets: the Armored Camera and the Impact Grenade.
Choosing the right gadget will depend on your playstyle, as with most agents. Nevertheless, the use of Armored Camera is limited to very specific situations or specific plans. The Impact Grenade will therefore be the most common choice.

Single ability
The Gu Mines are Lesion’s unique ability in Rainbow Six Siege.
Gu Mines |
At the start of the preparation phase, Lesion starts with a Gu mine. In addition, it generates a new trap every 30 seconds, up to a maximum of eight mines available in total during the round.
- Gu mines are ground-launched devices that activate on contact with an attacker
- Their area of effect is one meter in diameter.
- A Gu mine can affect multiple agents simultaneously
- Gu mines will deploy on any flat surface
- Lesion can recover his mines, even deployed.
- Victims of a Gu mine will have impaired vision and take continuous damage as long as they remain in the area of effect
- The victim will take 6 points of damage every two seconds.
- An agent under the effect of a mine will not be able to run
- Once deployed, Gu mines camouflage themselves
- Lesion is able to see where his Gu are in a certain area
Gu mines are usually placed in cramped places where the attacker has no direct view of the area. Stairs are a perfect example of this, since opponents will have a very hard time avoiding and getting out of traps. Indeed this placement will avoid the major part of the risks that your mine is detected and will also prevent a rapid retreat under cover of the affected attackers.
