(CercleFinance.com) – Agfa-Gevaert announces that its board of directors decided, on December 28, to cancel 2,288,302 treasury shares, in accordance with the authorization granted by the extraordinary general meeting of its shareholders on May 12, 2020.
As a result of this operation, the number of shares making up the capital of the Belgian group of imaging technologies is reduced to 160,506,706 shares in circulation, representing as many voting rights, against 162,795,008 shares previously.
As a reminder, Agfa-Gevaert had indicated, at the beginning of the week, to have bought back just over 7.22 million of its own shares, representing 4.31% of the total of its outstanding shares, as part of its buyback program. actions launched on April 1.
