ISTANBUL/UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will sign an agreement on Friday for the resumption of Ukrainian grain exports to the Black Sea, the presidency said on Thursday Turkish.

According to Ankara, a framework agreement has been reached based on a plan prepared by the UN during the Istanbul talks and is expected to be signed at the offices of Dolmabahce Palace at 1:30 p.m. GMT on Friday, Ankara said.

Due to Russia’s blockade as part of its “special military operation” in Ukraine, more than 20 million tons of Ukrainian grain are stuck in the port of Odessa and dozens of ships are at a standstill.
