Ahold Delhaize: Barclays adjusts its price target

(CercleFinance.com) – While maintaining its ‘weight online’ recommendation on Ahold Delhaize, Barclays is adjusting its price target from 31 to 32 euros the day after the results of the Belgian-Dutch food retailer for its second quarter.

‘Ahold Delhaize is optimistic about a sequential improvement in its European margins from now on and is pleased with the recent improvement in sales dynamics at Stop & Shop and in Belgium,’ notes the broker.

‘Free cash flow should benefit strongly from the postponement of bol.com’s investment plans’, adds Barclays, which moderately raises its EPS projections for the group and more significantly raises those of FCF.
