Air France Industries KLM E&M joins the global Leap engine maintenance network


PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M), the maintenance subsidiary of the Air France-KLM group, announced on Wednesday the signing of an agreement with CFM International enabling it to provide full range of “MRO” services (maintenance, repair and overhaul) for Leap-1A and Leap-1B engines.

CFM International, jointly owned by the American group GE and the French Safran, is the company that developed the Leap engines.

AFI KLM E&M specified that it would intervene on the engine

Leap dans ses ateliers "MRO" de Paris et Amsterdam.   Début juillet, Air France-KLM avait annoncé la signature d'un accord avec CFM International portant sur l'acquisition de 200 moteurs Leap 1-A pour équiper sa future flotte d'Airbus A320neo et A321neo.
